The Cowboys and Raiders tried serving knuckle sandwiches on Thanksgiving.
Turkey Day is a day to be thankful, joyous, and thankful for the company of others, but for at least one play in the Cowboys-Raiders showdown, those emotions were nowhere to be found. Early in the third quarter, the teams got into a small scrum that reached the Las Vegas sideline.
After the sauce was spilled, two players were sent off. Cowboys defensive back Kelvin Joseph and Raiders defensive back Roderic Teamer were fired for their roles in the matter.

Unfortunately, an official appeared to have been caught in the crossfire. He had some blood on his chin after helping to break up the dust.
It’s all good if it ends well though – while the fight was a pretty nasty thing to do for a Thanksgiving showdown, the content doesn’t care about your little vacation, and a lot of people brought their A set of memes afterwards.
It’s safe to say that Teamer and Joseph won’t be sending out Christmas cards this year.
