Adalbi Shkhagoshev , a member of the State Duma Security Committee, said that Polish President Andrzej Duda should clarify who exactly will be banned from entering Poland. He told RIA Novosti about this .
It should be clarified whether we are talking about all citizens of Russia or only deputies, he noted.
“If we are talking about deputies, we, I repeat, cannot under any circumstances put an equal sign between the victims in the LPR and DPR and trips to Europe. We made our decision to recognize the republics absolutely consciously,” he said.
Earlier, Polish President Andrzej Duda announced the possibility of a travel blockade for Russians in the event of an aggravation of the situation in eastern Ukraine.
During a press conference with the Presidents of Ukraine and Lithuania, Volodymyr Zelensky and Gitanas Nauseda, Duda recalled that Poland borders on the Kaliningrad region.
At the same time, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said earlier that the country would not impose its own separate sanctions against Russia, since the country’s economy would not withstand the consequences.
