Ugra continues to hold its leading position among other regions of the country. According to the results of the year, the region is in the top ten for all the main socio-economic indicators.

This was announced today by the head of the region Natalya Komarova in the report on the work of the Ugra government for 2021 and an appeal to the residents of the district, speaking at a meeting of the district Duma.

So, in 2021, in terms of income of the population, the district is in seventh place, in terms of the average salary received by residents – in eighth. 29.6 percent of Ugra residents earn today from 30 to 55 thousand rubles, 20.8 percent – from 55 to 75, 18.4 percent – from 75 to 100 and 22.2 percent – from 100 to 200 thousand rubles. Ugra ranks sixth in the country in terms of the rate of natural population growth. However, according to Natalia Komarova, the pandemic could not but affect the overall mortality rate of the population. In eight months of 2021, it increased in the region by 16 percent.

It should be noted that the report of the governor of Ugra and an appeal to the residents of the region is a capacious strategic document that outlined the results and objectives in all areas of the region’s development – from the economy to the social sphere. One of the key lines of Natalia Komarova’s speech was the implementation of national projects in the region in accordance with the goals set by the president for the country.

So, by the end of this year, residents of Ugra in need will be resettled from more than 110 thousand square meters of housing, recognized as emergency before January 1, 2017.

7.7 thousand people will receive new housing, while the resettlement of the emergency housing stock, included in the register before the beginning of 2017, will be fully completed in six municipalities. In addition, 1.3 thousand residents of the region will move to new apartments from houses recognized as hazardous after January 1, 2017.

“According to the Department of Construction of the Autonomous Okrug, 878 thousand square meters of housing will be commissioned,” Natalya Komarova said in her speech. – This year, the rights of 374 equity holders have been restored, two rented houses have been built – in Raduzhny and Nizhnevartovsk. It is planned to renovate 696 apartment buildings in which 430 thousand families live.

At the same time, there are only 129 families living in the gullies in the region today. Their housing issue will be resolved in the near future, for which the municipalities have already been provided with resources.

Let us remind you that one of the important tasks outlined by the President is the supply of gas networks to the homes of residents. According to the governor of Ugra, the level of gasification with natural and associated petroleum gas in the district is 82.3 percent, which is 11 percent higher than the average level of gasification in Russia – 71.4 percent, but not enough for every needy Ugra citizen to have gas in his house. Work in this direction will continue.

And one more indicative fact was voiced by Natalya Komarova during today’s report to residents: this year more than two billion rubles were allocated in Ugra for the implementation of investment projects not related to the fuel and energy complex. And this, in particular, the creation of the production of domestic protein components for baby food, the construction of a milk processing workshop, the construction of the Urai-Sovetsky highway and a number of others.

It should be noted that last year the total investment in Ugra amounted to one trillion rubles.
