Berezutsky told how many newcomers will be enough to strengthen CSKA

CSKA head coach Alexei Berezutsky told how many new players can be in the army club during the winter transfer window.

“If we are talking about strengthening as such, then I think that three players will be enough.

Why can’t I make a skeleton around young footballers? That is the question. You cannot instill qualities and attitude even in a quality player.

This is primarily a mental problem. I would call it a transitional period of some kind, ”the specialist said in an interview with Nobel Arustamyan.

After 18 rounds of the Russian Premier League (RPL), the army club occupies the fourth line in the standings with 30 points. The lag behind the leader, Zenit St. Petersburg, is eight points.

Earlier it was reported that the Paraguayan midfielder Jesus Medina flew to Moscow to sign a contract with CSKA.

Sources say the Red-Blues’ deal with Medina will run until 2025. The footballer is now a free agent. His last club was New York City, for which he scored nine goals and two assists in 38 games in the 2020/2021 season.
